This article what published October 22nd

Meat the future! is a documentary that offers hope to the world about cell-based meat. A food science that grows meat from animal cells without the need to breed, raise, and slaughter animals.

Liz Marshall is the film maker for this document “meat the future”

Their plan is to apparently grow meat it will probably be like cardboard or something honestly.

Do you agree with doing this what do you suggest people should do about the food problems when it comes to meat?

95 Year Old Left to Die in Fire

This article was published October 19th 2020

Yvette Galisheff woke up to a message from her sister saying that her 95 year old mother had died in a fire in her Toronto Seniors Building.

Her mother, elaine Emile was in her kitchen on oct. 5 when the fire broke out.

The Toronto fire department found the body at 8 a.m. that morning. they also saw signs of a fire but the fire was out when they got there.

The Toronto fire department didn’t say that there was a building-wide fire alarm in the night and that the firefighters went and determined that there was nothing wrong

For Galisheff the fact that the firefighters were in the building but didnt find her mom has become the most upsetting part for her.

“It brings tears to my eyes because my, you know she could have been just burning and she couldn’t put out the flames” she said

Ontario’s office of the chief coroner said it has opened an investigation into Emile’s death.

What would you do if you stuck in a burning building and why?

Connor McDavid has Covid-19?

This article was posted October 5 2020

Connor McDavid is a professional hockey player he plays for the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL. it has been confirmed that he has coronavirus the team says he is currently being quarantining at home.

“he will continue to be monitored and will follow all associated health protocols” the team says

The NHL says that he is one of the 30 players that has tested positive for covid-19.

I think this is going to cause the NHL to be shut down for a while because when there was a few other players that had corona no one cared but when a famous player like McDavid that is when a big uproar happens.

What do you think the NHL should do about this, should they risk and keep playing hockey or shut it down for a bit?

Big Increase In The Number of Positive Covid-19 Cases!

This article was posted on Sep 17 of 2020.

The article is about the increase in positive corona virus cases in several provinces according to CBC news Canada. B.C, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec have seen the biggest increase. Health officers have discovered that small indoor gatherings are the main way the virus is spreading. In Alberta they have averaged 137 new cases of covid-19 everyday.

With schools opening back up covid-19 has been spreading like crazy. Many small businesses had to close or postpone their opening date due to Covid.

Dr. Matthew Oughton says cases in Quebec are “picking up speed and the majority of the spread is from the younger population.”

This is happening right now as you read this deadly article but we have to do something about it so please do your part to help reduce the spread of covid-19.

If the cases keep increasing schools will most likely have to be shut down do you think that is the right way to deal with this? why or why not?

Covid Halloween Still Happening In B.C

The article was posted on sep 9 of 2020

The article is about how provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry confirms that Halloween this year is not cancelled in B.C according to CBC new Canada

She said “i think we can have Halloween this year, it is just going to look different, like everything is looking during this pandemic”

With the corona-virus (covid-19) they were planning on cancelling Halloween everywhere because they would pass a lot of germs giving out candy to kids. Dr. Bonnie says that if people bag the candy before they give it out it will reduce the chance of spreading the virus.

She wants to have Halloween for all the kids to go out and have fun. Imagine being a young kid and you cant go trick or treating and get candy think about how sad you would be.

“I think it is important for us to still celebrate during this time” said Dr. Bonnie

Whats your opinion, do you think that Halloween should still happen everywhere or do you think it should be cancelled? why or why not?
